The Pig Preserve, A Sanctuary In Tennessee
Saturday, September 4, 2010 - 9:30am - 10:00am
Guest(s): Richard Hoyle
Animal abuse knows no bounderies, whether the animal being abused is a dog, cat, puppy, kitten, horse, chicken or pig.
At The Pig Preserve in Jamestown, Tennessee, Richard and Laura Hoyle, founders of the amazing sanctuary, address the abuse that is inflicted on pigs in our world today.
The Pig Preserve creates a natural environment for abuse and neglected pot belly pigs as well as farm pigs and ferrel pigs, to live out their lives in the most natural existance available. This is the largest sanctuary of it's kind in the United States today.
Richard Hoyle talks candidly with us about their last move from Culpepper, Virgina, what a typical day is like at the sanctuary, the situations which brought the pigs to The Pig Preserve, and what their needs are.
Be sure to check out their website at www.thepigpreserve.org, and catch Part 2 of our conversation on Sunday at 10am!
