Sonyador the Amish mare was hours away from being shipped to a slaughter house auction on Friday when a fellow rescue worker intervened. Instead of having her life horribly ended, she wound up at Happy Trails and is going through our recovery program. Click the headline for more details and photos!

At 18.2 hands tall, this incredible, gentle giant came to Happy Trails through our Amish Horse Retirement Program. After having been found upside down in his tie stall, Bill suffered terrible injuries. He just had surgery at OSU and is now in recovery. Here is the story of Bill...
