Yet another young, pink, farm piggy arrived at Happy Trails last week after being rescued from a factory pig farm here in Ohio where the pigs are fed nothing but liquid waste from the facility that the hog owner also owns.  One pig was sadly euthanized, but this young man is determined to recover!  We always give the animals really cool names that have a special meaning. Can you help name the new pink piggy? Check out his photos!

This story does have a happy ending, so grab a kleenex and take a short break in your hectic day and learn about the strength and will to live of one incredible horse named Sir Buckeye Of Columbus by the vet students who loved him. Two new precious baby goats are now gracing us with their presence at Happy Trails! We are happy to report that mama Lillith is healthy and doing well and is being a wonderful mother to the babies! We are seeking a permanent home for mama and her new little girl and boy!
