Gather your antiques (or at least what you think are antiques) and learn the truth behind their history and value!  Visit the Happy Trails Antiques Appraisal Fair on Saturday, April 16th from noon to 3pm at the Kent Elks Club, and receive a written appraisal for your special family heirloom. Happy Trails is collecting emergency donations for the Medina SPCA. They rescued 113 Cairn Terriers from Chippewa Lake. The dogs are matted, hungry and in poor condition. Many are pregnant. The Medina SPCA needs newspapers, food, blankets, squeaky toys, puppy playpens, volunteers to clean cages and of course monetary donations. Donations and supplies can be dropped off either at Happy Trails (call 330-296-5914 for drop-off times) or at the Medina County SPCA Animal Care Facility, 245 S. Medina St. from 12-4 on Mon,Tue.,Thurs, Fri ,and Sat. 

The all-new Happy Trails "Find It Free' Committee" will begin posting  supplies that are needed each week on the website in hopes of locating donated items that will help us be good stewards of our funds and help us trim our weekly expenses!  Click on the headline to learn about this weeks "Find It Free" items!  Thank you for your help in spreading the word!

Once a year, Happy Trails sends out an appeal requesting your help. Many thanks to the over-200 folks who attended Happy Trails first ever Compassionate Thanksgiving!  We were simply overwhelmed and in awe of the turn-out, and were delighted to share such an incredible holiday meal and enjoy the company of such an amazing group of caring and compassionate people! Due to the amazing interest, we are now searching for the use of an even bigger donated venue for next year - can you help? Here's a few details!

Got a dollar to spare?  It may sound like a silly idea, but it's fun, cheap and effective!  Happy Trails gets over 300,000 hits on our website monthly (yes, you read that right!).  If even only half of the folks who check out our website would donate $1 to help the rescued animals whenever they visit us on the web, it would help tremendously with feed, grain and veterinary costs for most of the year! Here's the scoop... 

The ultimate idea in working together has Happy Trails and Sanders Wildlife in a friendly little competition doing a "Donation Swap" --- we are collecting items from their Wish List for their upcoming "Wildlife Baby Shower" to help them with all the orphaned spring wildlife.
