Quite handsome and debonair, Kenard the goat strutted through the gates of Happy Trails late last night. Short and stocky, with beautiful markings, Kenard is the quite the picture of a cartoon goat. He is funny, friendly, and was quite surprised by the number of pigs roaming around in his yard at the moment.
Kenard was placed next to the goat area so that he could get
to safely know the other goats through the fence first for a few days. Several of the goats (especially Odessa, our one-eyed beauty), came over to greet Kenard and welcome him to Happy Trails. Natasha, however, put her hackles straight up in the air and warned him already that she was in charge and to not try anything funny or else. Kenard seemed to settle into Piggerton Estates quite nicely, and apparently is enjoying his new friendships with the pot belly pigs as well as the more welcoming goats as they touch noses through the fence.
Kenard is a neutered male, and appears to be a pygmy-mix because of his short stature and short little legs.
He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has tested negative for CAE. His adoption fee is $75.
