Thinking about volunteering?  Want to lend a helping hand with rescued farm animals and horses? Here's how to start!

Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary is an all-volunteer organization. We rely on dedicated and reliable folks who are at least 18 years old or older, who are able to accurately and efficiently follow directions, policies and procedures regarding animal care and daily tasks, who are able to safety follow rules and regulations, who will have the animal's care, safety and best interest as their top priority, and who are able to work as a team player.

A volunteer orientation
• reviews all the ways you can get involved with the sanctuary
• gives you a tour of the facilities
• reviews safety policies and procedures
• gives you an overview of the work that is done at the sanctuary itself on a regular basis
• helps you get signed up for your first work day
• gives you a chance to "try-out" some volunteer time for a few hours after the orientation if you choose to do so
